OSOS, Other Side of Self

I Was the Kid Who Needed This.

Growing up in the DMV, I experienced violence, struggled to find my voice, and built my future around football, until an injury forced me to face who I was beyond the game.

Through faith, reflection and working with young people, I began to understand how deeply our experiences shape who we believe we are. I founded Other Side of Self to help people discover their voice, take ownership of their identity and build a life they believe in.

Since 2017, I've coached at-risk youth with the Police Athletic League, run STEM and afterschool programs, and served as a behavioral interventionist, paraprofessional and youth club director. I'm a proud member of Omega Psi Phi.
